The villa is a refuge in every season.
Spring
On the mountains, you can see up as far as the Dachstein, remnants of snow are still twinkling. The surrounding meadows are fragrant and blooming. Is there a deer rushing by? For most people, the lakes are still too cold, but a few fearless people already dare to jump into the cool water. The heated pool makes everyone else already have a taste of summer. The brave sportsmen are invited by a scramble wall to new challenges in rope climbing, within 15min uphill you are there. In the afternoon, you can enjoy coffee and cake in Bad Ischl, just a few km away – best of all at the Zauner confectionery!
Summer
After a morning run in the hills, you can relax by the large pool with its distant view of the mountains. Fancy some yoga exercise in the bathhouse? Then jump into the crystal clear, never too warm Hallstättersee. At Flora’s bathhouse directly by the lake, with probably the most beautiful view of the Salzkammergut, you can dream a little longer. Back at the refuge, the day comes to an uncomplicated end with a BBQ in the outdoor kitchen.
Autumn
Autumn bathes the entire region in golden colours and lights. The rustling leaves invite you to colourful hikes and explorations in the hilly surrounding countryside. Alternatively, you can discover the surroundings on wheels, mountain bike trails start right behind the villa. The pool, heated until late autumn, lets you feel a touch of summer even at this time of year. Or how about a trip to the Salzkammergut today? Let yourself be enchanted by the cultural jewel Hallstatt.
Winter
Skiing, ski touring or cross-country skiing. Villa Flora makes the hearts of winter sports enthusiasts beat faster. Right behind the house, the children go off with the toboggan. The ski areas Krippenstein, Obertraun and Dachstein-West are only 20 to 30 min drive away. By the way, the car is parked in the hotel’s underground garage with a private ski cellar. After returning, off to the sauna in the bathhouse, then grab a good book at the cosy tiled stove in the parlour, the cheese spaetzle sizzle in the meantime over the fire – how about a game of chess at the big table?
